Confirmed against an official or primary source as of the date shown.
Every access/permit/restriction claim above is a direct quote or close paraphrase from a live WebFetch of DWR's own Princess Anne WMA page on 2026-08-09 — not inferred from the area being public land. No relatedSpotIds set: this project's own spots.ts has no existing fishing-location record confirmed to be the same physical place, so none is guessed.

Habitat & species context
Located on Back Bay in extreme southeastern Virginia — four tracts (Trojan, Pocahontas, Beasley, Whitehurst) totaling 1,546 acres, one of DWR's major waterfowl-hunting areas. The Trojan and Pocahontas tracts are marsh/marshy islands along Back Bay, accessible by boat; the Beasley and Whitehurst tracts combine marsh, man-made wetland impoundments, and upland forest.
Major restrictions
- No hunting is allowed on the Trojan or Pocahontas tracts except for the float-blind-stake hunts specifically listed by DWR.
- Float blind stakes on Back Bay and North Landing River operate first-come-first-served for September goose/teal season, and by quota system (Quotas #112 and #107) for general waterfowl season — open Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday only.
- Impoundments on the Beasley and Whitehurst tracts are open first-come-first-served on Saturdays only during September goose/teal season, and by quota (#102) on Saturdays only during general waterfowl season.
